Faber – Live at Orpheum

For our short film capturing Faber’s live performance in Graz, we wanted to translate the raw energy and magnetic atmosphere of his shows into an immersive cinematic experience. Following seven selected songs, the film unfolds as a seemingly continuous shot, drawing the audience into the performance as though they were part of it. Shot entirely on 16mm, with carefully concealed cuts between moments, the visual language embraces the medium’s inherent grain, deep contrasts and warm tungsten tones against cooler shades of blue. The result is a visceral portrait of a live performance, balancing the raw immediacy of the moment with a carefully composed, almost timeless aesthetic.
