Lina – Melodrama

For LINA’s MELODRAMA, we developed a photographic concept rooted in a vibrant, hyper-feminine world, drawing inspiration from the glossy perfection of the archetypal blonde and the quiet tragedy of characters like Betty Draper. Embracing and simultaneously challenging these familiar stereotypes, we created a series of carefully constructed portraits that place LINA within a colourful, almost surreal fantasy. Behind the playful styling, pastel colours and exaggerated femininity lies a subtle sense of melancholy, revealing the emotional complexity beneath the polished surface. Balancing sleek, stylized compositions with moments of vulnerability, the series creates a visual wonderland where extravagance meets intimacy, beauty carries a knowing wink and melancholy hides in plain sight.
