Offcult – Souly

Over the course of a few weeks, I accompanied Souly during his tour preparations and live performances, capturing moments both on and off stage for the first episode of Offmaking, a documentary series created for Spotify’s Offcult. Through intimate conversations and personal voice notes, the film offers a glimpse into Souly’s creative world, exploring the thoughts, emotions and experiences surrounding his performances. Shot entirely on 16mm, the documentary moves between the energy of his live shows and the quieter moments behind the scenes, revealing a more personal side of the artist.
