Offcult – Paula Hartmann

I spent some time with Paula Hartmann during the short winter days in Berlin, filming the second episode of our documentary series Offmaking for Spotify’s Offcult. Through intimate conversations and personal voice notes, we explored memories of West Berlin, experiences and reflections, drawing connections between past and present. Shot entirely on 16mm, the film offers a personal glimpse into Paula’s world, capturing fragments of her thoughts and memories against the backdrop of a city that continues to shape her identity.
